Ordering & Payment
  •  How do I place an order?

Add the fresh and delicious items you desire to your cart.

After you have finished shopping, go to the Cart page, select either the ‘Local Delivery’ or ‘Store Pick Up’ option, then select your preferred date. The available slots shown are based on the item(s) in your basket as each culinarian and farmer requires a different amount of time to a prepare the products.

Proceed to check out. You are encouraged to set up an account in order to earn points while you spend. Points earned can be redeemed as discount vouchers for future purchases.   

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments via PayNOW and debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard and AMEX).

  • Can I amend or cancel my order after placing the order?

Please email us within 24 hours of ordering. We will do our best to fulfil the change the order, but there are no guarantees. We seek your understanding that we are mostly working with small business owners who are working with little margins and limited capacity, hence any changes to orders placed will have significant impact on their earnings and work.

In the case that we are unable to accede to your change request, the initial order and delivery time will still be fulfilled.

In the event that refund has to be made, refund will be made in BFF points (not cash). 

Delivery & Pick-up
  • How much is delivery?

$2 surcharge for all deliveries. For orders below $35, an additional $8 delivery fee applies. 

For delivery to restricted and remote areas, including Tuas, Jurong Island and Sentosa, a further $12 surcharge applies. The full list of addresses that incur the restricted area surcharge can be found here. We will get in touch with you to arrange for delivery and collection of the $12 surcharge. 

We understand that delivery fee can be annoying, and seek your understanding that such surcharges and fees are essential to help us defray the ever-increasing logistics costs. We seek your understanding and thank you for your support! 

  • Can I pick up my order?

Sorry, currently we do not offer pick-up option. 

  • When do you deliver? 

Picking and delivery are available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You can view the available timeslots based on the items in your cart at the Cart page. Do note that only timeslots that fulfill ALL items in your cart will be shown to you (e.g. if your cart contains 1 item that can only be delivered on Mon, even if the rest of your cart items are available on Wed and Fri, you will only have a Mon option shown to you). This is because we are working with individual culinarians who require different lead notice times and production schedules, and also because we are making a promise to you to ensure all our products are delivered to you fresh!

Feel free to contact us if you have difficulty choosing a delivery timeslot.

  • Am I able to select specific timings for delivery?

We deliver between 11am and 7pm. If you have specific timing requests, do leave us a message. We will try our best to accommodate your timing if logistics arrangement allows. Thanks for your understanding!

  • What if I am not at home when the delivery partner arrives?

We will leave the order by your gate if no one answers the door. In the event that our courier is unable to enter the estate, the order will be returned to the store. Selected non-perishable items can be rescheduled for delivery at a fee. No refund will be made for items that cannot be rescheduled for delivery. 

  • Am I allowed to change my delivery address?

You can change the address by 6pm two working days prior the delivery day. For such amendments, please contact us directly through email.

  • Why does the website say that "This order can't be shipped to your location"?
Due to technical issues, the system might not be able to identify your address immediately. If this happens, enter your postal code in the first address field, followed by your full address in the second address field. If you continue to face further difficulties, please email us. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible. Thank you!

  • How can I register as a Backyard Fresh Friend?

Simply register for an account to start earning points whenever you shop at Backyardfresh.sg. 

  • How can I earn points? 

Upon signing up

500 BFF Points

Every dollar spent (excluding value of shipping coupon discounts)

Every successful referral and first purchase by your referred BFF

  • How can I redeem my points?

Go to the BFF Rewards panel (the green button at the bottom left corner of your browser), click on “Ways to Redeem”. You will be able to claim the discount if you have sufficient BFF points. 

Once you redeem the discount, you will receive an email with the discount code. The discount code is also shown in the BFF Reward Panel under “Your rewards”. Please remember to enter the discount code during check out to enjoy the discounts. 

  • Do my points expire?
BFF points are valid for 12 months from your last transaction on Backyard Fresh. This means that your points will keep accumulating, so long as you make a purchase or successful referral within the next 12 months of your last transaction.
  • I forgot to key in my discount code when ordering, can the discount be applied retrospectively?
We’re sorry but discount codes cannot be used retrospectively. You can still use your discount code for your next purchase! 😊 
  • Can the discount codes be stacked? Can I use my reward voucher redeemed with BFF points and other discount codes I receive in the same order?

Only one discount code can be used for each purchase.

  • Can I earn BFF points for purchase of the vegetable subscription? 
We're sorry but purchase of vegetable subscription does not earn towards BFF points. You can, however, redeem your BFF points and apply the discount code for purchase of any vegetable subscription. Thank you! 

 

Backyard Fresh Gift Cards
  •  How do I use the Backyard Fresh Gift Card?

 Enter the Gift Card code during checkout to redeem the value of the gift card. 

  • Can the Backyard Fresh Gift Card be used more than once? 

The gift card holds a balance, which can be spent over more than one order. So, yes, as long as there is still balance on the card. 

  • Can the Backyard Fresh Gift Card be used to pay for delivery fee? 
Yes, gift card balances are applied to the total value of an order, which can include delivery fee.
  • Can more than one gift card be used towards a purchase?
Yes, you can redeem multiple gift cards during checkout. 
  • Can a gift card be used to buy another gift card?
No, you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card. 
  • Can a gift card by used in conjunction with a discount code?
Yes, you can use a discount code when redeeming the value of your gift card. 
  • Can a gift card by reloaded?
No, you can't reload a gift card. 
  • How do I check the balance on my gift card?
Sorry, we are still working on enabling the function to check your gift card balance. Till then, you can drop us a message or email and we will send you the information. 
  • When does my gift card expire?
The gift card(s) purchased on Backyardfresh.sg, unless otherwise stated, are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.
